AYRSHIRE'S WASPI women demonstrated outside the Westminister Parliament on Budget Day, joined by thousands of others from across the UK.
And their chant as Chancellor Rachel Reeves made her first Budget was: "WASPIs can't wait - compensate".
The Ayrshire members have campaigning for years over the rise in pension age for women, which saw 3.8 million lose out on years of cash they had been entitled to.
A spokesperson for the Ayrshire group said: "The WASPI women have demonstrated outside Parliament many times before on Budget Day, as it’s an important date in the UK political calendar. This year is different.
"The Ombudsman has now confirmed what we have been saying for years that the WASPI women have suffered an injustice and that we should be compensated as a matter of urgency and the Government should NOT use finite resources as an excuse.
"One WASPI woman dies every 13 minutes so the Government must act as a matter of urgency.
"The Chancellor and Prime Minister when in opposition signed pledges to support us, so now that they are in office it is time to act."
