NORTH Ayrshire Foodbank will be running a series of short workshops this month to mark Human Rights Day later this year.
Observed internationally on December 10 each year, it commemorates the day in 1948 the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The foodbank's workshop organiser Pietra Costaglione has devised a fun and interactive event to explore all of them under six headings.
The first will be held at the Ardrossan Church of the Nazarene on Saturday, November 16 from 2pm with the focus on economic, social and cultural rights.
There will be lots of discussion time as well as fun activities.
Throughout the session, hospitality will be provided and a travel bursary is available to those who prearrange.
The schedule has been cleverly devised, allowing young people (aged 12-18) to have their own workshop.
Adults and young people can register for free by simply texting 07411113126.
Registered attendees will be given a £20 amazon gift card (Young people) or a month's membership of their local Larder (worth £48) for adults.
