COMMUNITY group Choose Kilwinning have crowned the winner of their inaugural calendar competition.
Back in April, the group launched an appeal for local photographers to send them their best snaps of the town to feature in their first ever calendar.
A panel of judges selected 12 winners, whose images would be used as the main header for each month of the year.
There was also one overall winner, who would see their picture take pride of place on the calendar's front page.
After all the entries were viewed and judged, it was Lorna Dunlop who took the top prize of a £50 voucher for her favourite shop in town.
Lorna wowed the selection panel with a stunning image she captured of Kilwinning Abbey standing proudly above the trees, which she took from Whitehirst Park Road.
She was presented with her prize over the weekend by new Choose Kilwinning chair Amanda McLaughlan.
For those interested in picking up a calendar for themselves, they are available now in local shops such as Intrigue, Koolerz, Purple Daisy, My Serenity Boutique and the Seymour Post Office.
The calendar can be purchased at a cost of £8, with any money raised to be put towards events organised to take place in the town by Choose Kilwinning.
