A KIND-hearted Irvine shop has launched a 'gift tree' appeal to help kids in need this Christmas.
Primark in the Rivergate Shopping Centre has launched the initiative in partnership with North Ayrshire Council to support local families struggling through the festive period.
Customers will be able to donate to the appeal when they visit the store up until December 1.
A station has been set up where visitors can take a gift bag and tag while they shop. They are then being encouraged, if they are able, to purchase a gift to place within.
Afterwards, they simply have to put their gift at the donation station located at the first floor tills.
Following the conclusion of the appeal, North Ayrshire's social work department will distribute the donations made.
