A STEWARTON pub has raised a fantastic £3,000 for Ayrshire Cancer Support.
The Stewarton Arms, in the town's Avenue Square, held their annual walking football tournament in September.
Donald Gillies, Johnny Murnin and Yvonne Byrne were thanked by the charity for their tremendous efforts.
The organisers also wished to say a “big thanks to all the shops in Stewarton and beyond who kindly donated prizes for the event and all the people of Stewarton who all took part and assisted with the walking football and social event afterwards. Roll on next year".
An Ayrshire Cancer support spokesperson said: "We would also like to thank everyone involved in this great fun, fundraising day.
"It is from support like this that allows us to continue to provide our essential free services to children, young people and adults affected by cancer in Ayrshire."
