A POPULAR Ayrshire business has expanded by opening a second business on Irvine harbourside.
Ping's Poppin' Pizza has now started operating on Montgomerie Street in the former Nonna's House premises.
Locals were left devastated when the pizzeria closed back in August little over a year after taking on what was previously Nancy's Kitchen - which shut up shop in September 2022.
But those in Irvine have not had to wait long to have their cravings for Italian cuisine fulfilled once again.
Ping's Poppin' Pizza officially opened its doors on Friday, November 8, offering food for both delivery and takeaway. There is also room for a small number of seats for those who "fancy sitting and munchin'".
The business will be operating three days per week, opening from 4-10pm on Fridays, 12-10pm on Saturdays and 12-8pm on a Sunday.
It becomes the second branch of Ping's Pizza and Wings, with the same operators currently running a successful venue in Kilmarnock.
The Bonnyton Road venue has proved a big hit in East Ayrshire and has amassed thousands of social media followers since opening.
It is hoped their Irvine venture will see similar success with an equally exciting menu on offer.
As well as a wide array of fresh, hand-made, pizzas there are plenty of options which cater to all tastes.
The menu also boasts made to order chicken strips, and a vegan alternative, as well as loaded fries and loaded mac and cheese option.
Sides on offer also include Italian favourite bruschetta, mozzarella sticks and chilli cheese bites - for those on the look out for a bit of extra spice.
There is also something for all the family with a kids menu available.
Those looking to find out more about the business can do so via the Poppin' Pizza Facebook page.
