TWO Ayrshire holiday parks have been celebrating success after gaining national recognition.
Viewfield Manor Leisure Park in Kilwinning and Gadgirth Estate Lodges near Annbank were both presented with top national tourism awards by UK holiday company Hoseasons.
The event was the staycation specialist’s 18th annual awards which look to celebrate the holiday parks, lodge resorts and boating locations within their UK portfolio that have achieved the highest scores in independent guest satisfaction surveys throughout the 2024 season.
The ceremony saw Viewfield Manor crowned 'Best Small Relax and Explore destination in Scotland'.
While Gadgirth Estate picked up an award as the 'Best Small Lodge Escape Destination' in the nation.
Commenting after the awards were announced during a ceremony, Michael Wilmot, CEO at Verdant Leisure Limited – the parent company of Viewfield Manor - was delighted by the acclaim.
He said: “This is a fantastic result for everyone who works so hard to make sure our guests have the best possible experience when they stay with us.
"We are very aware that they place an enormous amount of faith in us when they choose where to go on holiday, so it’s great to know we’re getting it right.”
