IRVINE Meadow have announced Gareth Turner and Michael Wardrope as their new co-managers.

The former Medda stalwarts will be hoping to guide the Junior side to automatic promotion next season following their relegation from the Super League Premier Division.

Davie Greig announced he would stand down earlier this month but he will remain in charge until the end of the season.

A statement from Irvine Meadow said: "The club are delighted to announce the appointment of Gareth Turner and Michael Wardrope as co-managers.

"Both Gareth and Michael were great servants and top players for Medda and both receive a warm welcome back to Meadow Park.

"Davie Greig and his team remain in charge until the end of the season with a home league game against Hurlford and an Ayrshire Cup semi-final coming soon."
