FRUSTRATED Premiership leaders Kilwinning Rangers could be set to leave junior football, claiming plans for progress are not being introduced.
The club said they were assured around two years ago that the junior game would link up with the pyramid.
And they duly moved away from Abbey Park to Kilwinning Sports Club to help prepare for the transition.
However they claim plans are now not going ahead and could be tempted to make the move away themselves.
Buffs would be the first west team to break away after a number of clubs in the east including Kelty Hearts and Bonnyrigg Rose left the East Region for the Lowland League.
