IRVINE Meadow have announced their new manager who will lead the club going forward.
Former Medda captain, and current under 20s coach, Ben Carson has been appointed into the role with immediate effect.
Carson will be supported in the role by Alan Muir who the club say have both been "pivotal figures" within their previous positions at Meadow Park.
A committee statement added: "This swift announcement aims to maintain continuity with the current squad of players and attract new talent moving forward."
The new appointment comes only hours after the club announced the departure of previous boss Martin Ferry alongside his assistant Des Roache.
Ferry left Meadow Park after three months in charge at the club leaving them looking for their fifth manager in the space of just 14 months.
Carson will now take over at the club who are rooted to the bottom of the WoSFL Premier Division table.
Meadow have just two wins to their name so far this season and with eight points in total are currently four adrift of safety.
