THE final days play is now underway in the Scottish Boys Championship at The Irvine Golf Club.
There are now only 45 players remaining in the field after the halfway cut was made ahead of the final two rounds of the tournament which will both be played today (Friday, April 12).
Players from across the globe remain in the competition which still includes one Ayrshire hopeful.
Royal Troon's Scott Newman was the only youngster of the local contingent to make it to Friday though a seven over par second round has saw the talented teen slip back into 41st position after being tied for third after day one.
France's Alexandre Godin currently leads the field as the only player under par after two rounds at one under.
Players will now play two full rounds today before the winner of the tournament is crowned.
