IT was a weekend of cup and league action across the Ayrshire amateur football set-up, with big results and goals galore across the board.
There were just a few teams on league business, with Shortlees' 2-0 victory over Dailly the only match in the Premier League.
The win puts the Kilmarnock side top of the table for now, having played two games more than their closest rivals.
In Division 1, Drongan and Galston played out a 1-1 draw, while there was a 4-1 win for Kilbride Thistle at home to Crosshill.
In Divison 2, Bothan Victoria maintained their perfect start to the campaign with a 15-1 demolition of Darvel Victoria away from home.
Elsewhere, Forehill and Dean Thistle played out an entertaining 3-3 draw, whilst Troon Town got their first points of the season with a narrow 2-1 win against Onthank.
In replays for the Scottish Amateur Cup first round, New Farm Loch fell to a 3-2 defeat away to Houston United.
There was better news for Mauchline, as they were victorious 8-2 away to St Roch's.
They will be joined in the second round by Annbank, who overcame Dirrans in their all-Ayrshire tie.
In the second round of the Ayrshire Challenge Cup, Glenburn got the better of Troon Dundonald 4-1, whilst Beith edged out Kilmarnock AFC on penalties.
In the James Scott Trophy second round, Bellfield were big 15-2 winners away to Kilwinning.
Elsewhere, Knockentiber made easy work of Ardrossan Winton Rovers, whilst West Kilbride edged out Stewarton Annick.
In the DG Heating & Plumbing Trophy, Cambusdoon made it past Minishant 1-0.
Whitletts Victoria and Catrine also progressed in the same competition, each via penalties, at the expense of New Cumnock Community and Crosshouse Waverley respectively.
